Updating the software UI

The Trimble 4D Control Server UI does not necessarily run on the same computer as the Trimble Service Administrator software, which controls the Controller this UI is connected to.

Therefore, the Trimble 4D Control Server UI will automatically be updated, if the following conditions are true:

• An update for it is available.
• The Trimble 4D Control Server UI starts up.
• It connects to a Trimble 4D Control Server Controller that is running on a different computer.

For the Trimble 4D Control Server UI to be updated it is necessary that it runs having Windows administrator rights.

During the update of the Trimble 4D Control Server UI, a progress bar appears. After the installation, you must restart the Trimble 4D Control Server UI.

If the Trimble 4D Control Server UI runs on the same computer as the Trimble Service Administrator software, the Trimble Service Administrator update of the software includes the UI update.
