The status bar serves several purposes:
A time server tool automatically starts up with the startup of Trimble 4D Control Server. It puts time information at the system’s disposal and sends events through the system on new hour, new day, etc.
The time displayed in the status bar results from the internal time server. It can be displayed in several time systems (for example: UTC, local time). The format of times depends on the Windows regional settings of the computer running the Trimble 4D Control Server UI.
Right-clicking into the time field opens a shortcut menu. It shows the time systems available for be used to display time data. The currently selected time system is checked. To change the time system for the display in the status bar, select one of the time system options.
Tip - Local time refers to the computer running the master Controller. It does not depend on the computer running the current UI.
The status bar access level icons refer to the applied security permissions to the current user. See the following table:

When the connection to the license server has been lost, the license will be active for the following four days. As a warning, the background of the license status icon will be bright yellow. Thereafter, the software will run without any license with minimum features; the status bar displays the "No license" icon in this case. |
