Select Coordinate System Type dialog

This dialog appears, if you do one of the following:

• If your currently selected coordinate system is Default:Default: Select the main menu command File > System Properties, set the focus onto the Select coordinate system setting and click the browse button.
• If your currently selected coordinate system is a different one: Select the main menu command File > System Properties, set the focus onto the Select coordinate system setting and click the browse button. The Select Coordinate System dialog appears. Click New System.

Use it to select the type of coordinate system that you want to use.

Coordinate System Type choices

Coordinate System and Zone: If one selects this option, the Select Coordinate System Zone dialog appears. Use it to select a coordinate system group and zone.

Calibrated Site: This option is only available, if there is at least one calibrated site specified in the current.csd database file. If one selects this option, the Select Calibrated Site dialog appears. Use it to view the list of calibrated sites available, and to select one of it.

Default Projection (Transverse Mercator): If one selects this option, the Default Projection (Transverse Mercator) dialog appears. Use it to select the default projection, and optionally, to apply projection parameters, shift parameters, and / or a scaling factor to it.
