Select Coordinate System dialog

This dialog appears, if your currently selected coordinate system is not the default one, and if you do the following:

• Select the main menu command File > System Properties, set the focus onto the Select coordinate system setting and click the browse button.

Use it to select the coordinate system that you want to use.

Coordinate System choices

New System: Use this option, if you have not previously specified the coordinate system you want to use now. With Next, the coordinate system selection wizard proceeds with the Select Coordinate System Type dialog. Use it to select the type of coordinate system that you want to use.

Recently Used System: If one selects this option, up to ten recently-used systems become available for selection. For each of these systems the Coordinate System Group, the Zone, the Datum Transformation and the Geoid Model are displayed. For scrolling through the available recently-used coordinate systems, use the left- / right-arrow buttons. For selecting the displayed system, click Finish. The selected coordinate system group and zone are displayed in the System Properties dialog.
