This tab appears, if you do the following:
If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.
Use the Storage Integrity properties to view or set up a storage integrity connection to the receiver.
Note - Newer Trimble receivers support internal storage of data in several sessions. The FTP download in Trimble 4D Control Server needs and relies on a session called INFRA. With an active connection to the receiver, Trimble 4D Control Server creates the INFRA session automatically. If, however, the connection to the receiver is passive, you need to create the INFRA session manually. It has to obey the following format: /<File system>/INFRA/YYYY/MM/DD, (where <File System> refers to the flash memory unit and is one of Internal or External). For detailed information, refer to the receiver manual.
Enable storage integrity connection: Only available, if the incoming connection type is not RTPD Client. If set to Yes, additional properties appear, which let you specify a second connection between the GNSS Receiver module and the remote reference station receiver. The storage integrity functionality then uses the second connection to control and handle the data download from the remote reference station. By default, set to No.
Depending on the selected receiver type, the displayed sub-category and its settings differ.
Note - If the connection to the receiver is a passive connection, make sure that data logging is enabled at the receiver side. Otherwise, the storage integrity data download will fail to find any stored data on the receiver.
Use FTP access: Only available if the Enable storage integrity connection property is set to Yes and for Trimble receivers, which are designed for both, data download using an FTP connection as well as using a Storage Integrity connection.
This category only appears, if the selected receiver type is NetRS or if Use FTP access is set to Yes for other Trimble receivers that are designed for data download using an FTP connection over the internet.
Note - FTP requests in Trimble 4D Control Server are configured to not use a proxy.
Use the settings of the FTP Settings category to make the Trimble receiver’s IP address (edit the Server name setting) and FTP port (Port) known to the system.
If the receiver is set up in a way that it requires a password for remote control, set the Anonymous setting to No and edit the FTP user name and FTP User password value fields to provide a user name and password for authentication. If no authentication is required, you can keep the default selection of Anonymous (Yes). If the access restrictions for the FTP client require that an FTP server is configured for passive mode only, set the Passive connection option to Yes. The default setting is No, meaning there is no firewall between the FTP server and the receiver. For more information on passive connections click here.
Note - For a NetRS FTP connection, you do not have to provide the user name, since all NetRS receivers are set up to communicate with the user FTPnetrs.
This category appears for all Trimble receivers capable of internal data logging with the exception of the NetRS receivers. Use the settings of this category to establish a second (incoming) connection to the receiver.
The Connection type setting specifies the connection type used to perform the communication. Available connection types for storage integrity are the following:
Note - With a TCP/IP Client connection, the Automatic reconnect setting is not available, since the storage integrity tries to connect to the instrument in any case as long as data are missing.
Enable RTPD storage integrity: Only available, if the incoming connection type is RTPD Client. In this case, the GNSS Receiver module is connected to an RTPD server, which typically runs on the same computer. The RTPD server continuously makes sure that all epochs of the raw receiver data fed into its system are available and stores that data to raw data files. If the Enable RTPD storage integrity property is set to Yes, and a depending Storage module has requested updated data files due to missing data (gaps or missing files), the GNSS Receiver module requests that data from the RTPD server. An additional property lets you specify the RTPD archive folder that contains the stored receiver raw data.
RTPD archive folder: Only available, if the Enable RTPD storage integrity property is set to Yes. In this case, the GNSS Receiver module requests missing data from the RTPD Server the RTPD Client is connected to. This RTPD Server may store data of different origin in several archive sub-folders. Use this property to specify the root folder, from which missing data is requested.
