Copying modules

Switch the Tree view to the Module view mode (in the Controller view mode copying does not work).

To copy one or several modules from one location to another location, press and hold the CTRL key and then drag and drop the module(s) over the target parent entry in the Tree view.

Note - You can only copy a module to a valid parent target. Valid parents are those modules that offer these specific module types in their Insert Module menu. If you release the mouse key at another location in the tree, nothing happens.

The cursor always identifies the current status by its icon; it changes its shape when moving, if it covers a valid parent.

When copying multiple selected modules, one after the next module is created under the target module as an identical sub-tree as the source. If the confirmation of module copying is enabled (see the Tree view properties), the Insert module(s) dialog appears first. After you have then selected the Container hosting the module, the module's Properties dialog appears.
