Moving modules

You can move modules from one Container to another during normal operation, no matter on which computer the Container resides on. To move module(s) from one Container to another, go to the Controller tree view mode, set the focus onto it/them, and then drag and drop the module(s) over the target Container entry. The Move Module(s) dialog shows up, if you have not de-selected its appearances.

The cursor always identifies the current status by its icon; it changes its shape when moving, if it covers a valid parent.

Moving modules does not change the relationship to their parent modules, that is, they are still connected to the same parent module as before. When switching the Tree view to Module view mode, you will see no difference in the module hierarchy.

Tip - You can move modules to a different Container on a different computer to better distribute CPU load of the system.
