Trimble 4D Control Suite - System overview

The TrimbleÒ 4D ControlÔ suite comprises 2 primary components.

Trimble 4D Control Server (with Trimble 4D Control versions 4.2 ... 4.5 known as TrimbleÒ PivotÔ Platform): This is the server based component, used to configure, acquire and process data from GNSS, terrestrial and geotechnical sensors and to store these results in the Trimble 4D Control technical database.

TrimbleÒ 4D ControlÔ Web: This is the web based interface used to perform the following:

• to identify the data to be extracted from the technical database and to be stored in the monitoring database, a dedicated, open source database configured specifically to contain data used in deformation monitoring.
• to view, chart, analyze and alarm the data stored in the monitoring database.
