Router Incoming / Outgoing / Backup Connection views

Use the Router Incoming view to get an overview over the connection settings for incoming data. The Router Outgoing view displays the information for outgoing data.

The Backup Connection view is only available for modules with a backup connection set up for the incoming connection.

Parameter

Connection status

Indicates whether a user is currently connected to the Router. If communication errors occur, a short information shows up here. Green, if successfully connected, red if disconnected or any other error occurs.

Incoming / Outgoing / Backup Connection type

The selected connection type. Can be changed using the module properties.

Communication Mode

The selected communication mode. Can be changed using the module properties.

Total bytes in / out

Accumulated amount of received (in) and transferred (out) bytes at the incoming side (Incoming view) or at the outgoing side (Outgoing view) since the time the module has been started. Use these fields to see whether data is currently being transmitted.

Bytes per second in / out

Transfer rate for data "arriving" and "leaving" at the incoming side (Incoming view) or at the outgoing side (Outgoing view).

Serial port

Only available for the Serial connection type. The selected COM port. Can be changed using the module properties.

Server port

Only available for the TCP/IP Server connection type. The selected IP port number. Can be changed using the module properties.

Phone number

Only available for the Modem connection type. The selected phone number which the modem dials. Can be changed using the module properties.

A second table at the lower part of the view gives a list of the connected clients, server, or NTRIP Caster. This table is not necessary for the Serial and the Modem connection types. The name and contents of the table depend on the selected connection type. Besides the most important information on the connected clients or servers, such as, for example, IP address, host name, and used port, the table accumulates for each connection the amount of received (in) and transferred (out) bytes.
