To print out a chart, right-click into the graphic of any module and select its shortcut menu command Print. The Print Preview dialog appears. Use it to select and set-up a printer, set print-out properties and to start printing.
The printing command lets you print out a plot of the current chart as you see it on the screen. For example, if you do not want the legend to show on the printout, switch it off before printing.
The Print Preview dialog displays a preview of the print-out and lets you select the printer from all installed printers. Use its Page tab to select the page orientation and page margins. Use the Zoom setting to zoom into the preview. This setting does not influence the resulting printout. The Format tab lets you add the background, change bitmap colors to grayscale, and optimize the quality of the printout.
Note – If the Proportional setting is selected, the chart always prints-out in the height/width relation is has on the screen. If you remove the selection, the resulting plot will fill the page. This means, that in Portrait mode the plot may be somewhat distorted, since graphs are usually not displayed on screen in a portrait orientation. To avoid this, switch the paper orientation to Landscape, or make sure Proportional is selected.
To setup the printer properties, click Setup. The Page Setup dialog appears, which lets you select the page format and margins, and leads you to the printer-dependent standard dialogs.
