All modules output important status messages to the central database, where they are stored in the Logging table. You can view the latest status messages in the Status Messages view. The Status Messages view helps to monitor Trimble 4D Control Server's actions.
As it is the case with all views in Trimble 4D Control Server, you can add several Status Messages view instances to the UI, both as docked panes or as floating windows. When you start Trimble 4D Control Server for the first time, the main UI does not display any Status Messages view.
To add a Status Messages view instance to the UI, do one of the following:
The new instance is docked to the main window. By default, it displays the last 20 status messages. When you exit the Trimble 4D Control Server UI with this view visible, it will display at startup.
If field entries are too long for display due to the current field size, they are displayed as tool tips.
