Insert Module dialog

This dialog appears when you do the following:

Use the dialog to select the module and the location, where the module shall be inserted.

Selecting the module in the list

The content of the module list field depends on the parent. Only modules that can be added under the currently selected object (the parent) are displayed. To select a module set the focus onto its name. The name of the selected module appears at the right, a short description of its function shows up below the list. The Controller and Container fields display the location, where the module will be created.

Tip - Double-clicking a module name or a location selects the item, closes the dialog, and inserts the module.

Default module location

Modules run in Containers. Typically, they are automatically distributed to default Containers, but for most module types you can also freely select any other Container.

Selecting the location

The Automatic selection for the Container can often be kept.

For selecting a different than the default Container, set the focus onto the Container name. The selection appears in the Container field.

Tip - If you have accessed the Insert Module dialog from the Container view mode of the Tree view, with the focus set on a Container, the Container is already pre-selected.
