Router Manager

The Router Manager module is the main tool for configuring and viewing your assembly of Router modules. (A Router module receives data from any source and distributes it to any target.)

Use the Router Manager for the following:

• Adding Router modules to the system
• Grouping Router modules in a hierarchical structure. Thus, Router modules can pass on their data to several targets.
• Getting an overview on the most important properties of each managed Router module.
• Quickly move the focus to a specific module and / or open its properties in the Properties view.

Adding the module

The Router Manager module is available from the Tree view root Trimble 4D Control Server. Trimble 4D Control Server accepts multiple Router Manager modules in the system.

When the module is being added, the Router Manager Properties dialog appears. It lets you define and select Router Manager module configurations. Each configuration holds information on the number and hierarchy of the Router modules, which will be managed by this configuration. You also may remove a configuration from here, if you do not need it anymore. You can change the selected Router Manager configuration at any time.

Viewing the module status

The module displays the Status module-view page for an overview on all managed Router modules. Use the view also to quickly access a selected Router module or to display its properties.
