NMEA Receiver Status View

The NMEA Receiver Status view displays the last 100 position records, either NMEA GGA, NMEA GGK, or RTPD positions and standard deviations, that have arrived from the connected source. Each row displays one record.

Color of the NMEA record

The NMEA records may show up in different colors. See the table below.

Color

Cause

Cause if RTPD input

Result

Black

Record contains RTK fix.

Record is complete.

Record is passed on to the NMEA Engine.

Red

RTK fix is missing.

Record is incomplete, channel data is missing.

Record will not be passed on to the NMEA Engine.

Gray

Record contains RTK fix, but is filtered out.

Position is incomplete, because reference position information is not (yet) transmitted.

Record will not be passed on to the NMEA Engine. These records are skipped according to the Data rate filtering setting in the NMEA Receiver properties.

Note - The update interval of the display of the records depends on the bandwidth control setting you have selected when logging in to the Trimble 4D Control Server UI.
