Data Receiver Properties - Round Settings

When you add the Data Receiver module, the Data Receiver Properties dialog appears with this tab.

If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.

Use the Round Settings tab to view and edit Data Receiver properties for round measurement configuration.

Round Settings category

The settings of this category pertain to the configuration of round measurements.

Set of rounds: Use this setting to specify how many rounds (1, 2, 3, or 4) are combined to one set of rounds. If a set of rounds consists of more than one round, the next round measurement will start as soon as the previous one has finished. - Measuring the round of targets repeatedly in both faces increases the redundancy in the adjustment of unfixed points and thus increases the accuracy of point positions. The Data Receiver module sends each set of raw round measurements in a bundle to the terrestrial processing engines. The terrestrial processing engines take these bundled raw measurements, (optionally) combine them with data from other total stations belonging to the same mission, apply weather corrections on them, and estimate one raw position from the set of rounds. Then, they make the raw measurements of each round in both faces together with one estimated position available to the adjustment functionality of the depending Integrity Monitor modules. The adjustment functionality computes a mean from the two face measurements in each round and uses these values in combination with the estimated rough position in its adjustment process. The results of one set of rounds are displayed as one event in the Integrity Monitor views, such as thedisplacement charts.

Enabled points: Shows the number of points which are enabled to be respected in a round. The list will be populated from the data received by the incoming stream and probably modified when you disable points for measurements.

To view the list of incoming points and for dis-/enabling points, set the focus into the value field and click the browse button. This opens the Enable/Disable Points dialog.
