This dialog appears if you do one of the following:
Use the RINEX Header dialog to view and specify the contents of the header of the new RINEX files.
The edit fields given comply with the RINEX convention. The Storage module automatically fills-in - in black - some of the edit fields with the data derived from the parent modules. The receiver's station code goes into the Marker Name field, while Marker Number is filled with the station name. You may edit them at any time; edited entries appear in red color.
Note - The Storage module automatically writes the creation date (in GPS time) into the file each time a new file is created. Therefore, you cannot edit the date.
For editing the RINEX Comments you will typically use the global station list. There, the comment lines of the RINEX header can already automatically be filled in, if the respective information has been imported from a site log. You can, however, also provide individual comments here, which differ from the ones attached to the receiver's station. If you do not edit the comments in the RINEX Header dialog, the ones from the receiver's station are used.
Note - RINEX header values typically only apply for a specific receiver. Therefore, your edits only apply for this Storage module configuration under the current GNSS Receiver module. If you later add or move the same configuration to another GNSS Receiver, edited values will be replaced by the default values, if you do not re-edit them previously.
