File Rollover dialog

This dialog appears if you do one of the following:

• Add the Storage module. The Storage Properties dialog appears with the General Settings tab. Set the focus onto the File rollover command setting and click the browse button.
• Select the Storage module in the Tree view. The categories and settings of the General Settings tab appear in the Properties view. Set the focus onto the File rollover command setting and click the browse button.

Use the File Rollover dialog to view and edit the command (running an executable of batch file) to be executed after data storage.

Selection field and browse button

Lets you view and change the path and name of a file to be executed after the successful creation of a data file. to change the settings, click the browse button. A standard Select File dialog appears. Select the folder and file name, click Select.

Edit field

Use the field to specify a command to e executed after the successful creation of a data file. You need not to specify file names manually: Make use of one of two strings within your command to apply it to all files that will be created:

• %[File] specifies the full path and the name (including extension) of the created file,
• %[Name] specifies the full path and the name of the created file without extension.
