Starting Up With Last System Configuration dialog
This dialog appears, when during startup of the Trimble 4D Control Server processes are already logged in with the Trimble 4D Control Server UI with user rights allowing the change of system configurations. If Trimble 4D Control Server has been exited with the default, empty system configuration (no modules added), it will start up without displaying this dialog.
Use the dialog to do the following:
- To view the list of Containers for which modules are about to be loaded and the remaining time until loading begins.
- To load the current system configuration immediately.
- To manually select another Trimble 4D Control Server system configuration to be loaded.
- To individually load or skip the modules for specific Containers of the current system configuration.
The main list field displays for each container on all participating and connected computers the remaining time in seconds, until this Container will automatically be loaded. A Container is identified by the hosting computer name and the Container's IP port.
Loading or skipping the current system configuration
- To immediately load the current system configuration: In the Configuration for all Containers group click Load Now. The dialog closes and Trimble 4D Control Server immediately starts up loading the modules.
- To skip loading the modules of all Containers: In the Configuration for all Containers group click Skip. The dialog closes. If no modules have been loaded before, Trimble 4D Control Server starts with an empty system configuration named Default. If some modules have already been loaded, Trimble 4D Control Server starts with the current system configuration with all remaining modules skipped.
Loading another system configuration
To load a different system configuration, click Change. The Load System Configuration dialog appears. Use it to select another system configuration. The dialog closes and Trimble 4D Control Server immediately starts up loading the modules.
Individually loading or skipping the modules for specific Containers
- To immediately load the modules for selected Containers, set the focus onto the respective items in the list (multiple selection is possible). In the System Configuration for selected Containers group click Load Now. Trimble 4D Control Server then immediately starts up loading the modules for the selected Containers. The dialog does not close automatically, letting you choose further actions.
- To skip loading the modules for selected Containers, set the focus onto the respective items in the list (multiple selection is possible). In the System Configuration for Selected Containers group click Skip. The remaining time for the skipped Container is set to zero, and they will not be loaded. If no further Containers are available for loading, the dialog closes. Otherwise, you can use other functions or the remaining modules will be loaded when their loading time has come.
Skipping the configuration load for a Container does not modify your system configuration (as long as you do not save it again), so it is only temporary. If you restart the skipped Container, it will load the previous configuration again.
