Ephemeris Manager Properties - Realtime Orbits and Clocks

When you add the Ephemeris Manager module, the Ephemeris Manager Properties dialog appears with this tab.

If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.

Use the Realtime Orbits and Clocks tab to view and edit general settings. This tab and its property settings are only available, if network processing using Trimble CenterPoint RTX corrections data is licensed.

Note - When an Ephemeris Manager module is loaded automatically, it works with the Default configuration. An Ephemeris Manager is started automatically, when you insert the first GNSS Receiver module into Trimble 4D Control Server. To make sure that realtime orbits and clocks are always available, make sure the default configuration points to the servers where they are available from.

Trimble RTX Orbits and Clocks category

Use Trimble RTX orbits/clocks: For using the high-precision, realtime corrections for satellite orbit and clock errors provided by Trimble Global, set this property to Yes. The Incoming Connection Trimble category of properties becomes available. They are, by default, set to the NTRIP client connection type, with the following settings. (If you want to connect to a different source of Trimble Realtime clocks and orbits, there are also the TCP/IP Server and the TCP/IP Client connection types available for selection.)

When available, the Ephemeris Manager makes the Trimble realtime orbit and clock corrections available to other modules.
