En/Disable Satellites dialog
This dialog appears, if you set up the satellite settings for all depending GNSS Receiver modules, have set the focus on one of the properties that allow you to disable satellites of a specific satellite system, and have clicked the browse button. Among these properties are, the following:
- Disable GPS satellites,
- Disable GLONASS satellites,
- Disable Galileo satellites,
- Disable QZSS satellites,
- Disable BeiDou satellites.
Use the En/Disable Satellites dialog to view and edit the satellite selection.
Click here to learn how the activation status of a satellite is indicated by different check marks.
For deselecting satellites, you have to distinguish, whether satellites are to be disabled for the use within the real-time system only or for the use in postprocessing as well. In the first case, real-time only, the observations from disabled satellites will be written into data files such as RINEX files, if data storage is activated. Thus, they are available for postprocessing. However, these observations will not be used for raw data analysis or passed on to modules using real-time data, such as the Synchronizer. The Satellite Tracking view will also not display real-time disabled satellites.
When a satellite is disabled for real-time and postprocessing applications, no satellite observation passes the respective GNSS Receiver module. However, with a passive connection to the reference station receiver, the receiver still tracks disabled satellites. Modules, which get the data stream before the GNSS Receiver module gets it, will therefore nevertheless receive this satellite's observation. Examples for such modules are the Router or the Raw Storage modules.
All in all, we have three satellite disabling states:

RT/PP disabled: Disabled for real-time application as well as for post-processing.

- No observation passes the GNSS Receiver modules.
- With passive connections to the reference station receiver, observations are passed on to the Router modules.

Disable these <Satellite System> satellites check boxes
Let you disable specific satellites either for real-time only, or for real-time and postprocessing by repeatedly selecting the respective check box. By default, no satellite is disabled.
Disable All button
Disables observations of all satellites for real-time and postprocessing applications.
RT Disable All button
Disables observations of all satellites for real-time application only.
Enable All button
Enables all satellites.
