When you add the Data Collector module, the Data Collector Properties dialog appears with this tab.
If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.
Use the Alarm Settings tab to view and edit more Data Collector properties, such as tolerance thresholds.
The Property set within this category pertains to the Target not found and the Integrity check failed Data Collector alarm types.
Evaluation mode: With the default Per round setting, only one alarm is triggered for a round in case of failures, independently of the number of targets which have failed to be measured. If the Alarm Manager is set up to send e-mails, the respective e-mail text will include the names of all targets which have failed. If you select the Per target setting, each target that has not been found or whose integrity check has failed triggers an alarm.
Tip - With many targets in a setup, the Per target setting may result in a high number of e-mails.
The settings of this category pertain to the Integrity check failed alarm type. They specify thresholds that should not be exceeded in an integrity check. These thresholds are given in the selected length unit for three directions; Horizontal, Vertical, and Distance (default values are 1.000 m for each of the directions).
If point groups are defined for the points to be measured, one set of threshold values is available for each group of points. Otherwise, the Default group contains the settings for all points configured in the point list of a site setup.
If one of the thresholds is exceeded, the measurement of that target is marked as bad and will be repeated, if the Repeat measurement property is set to Yes. An alarm will be triggered.
