Data Collector Properties - GKA Output

When you add the Data Receiver module, the Data Receiver Properties dialog appears with this tab.

If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.

Use the GKA Output tab to view and edit Data Receiver properties used to enable and set up the output of messages in GKA format, which can be read by third-party applications or by the Data Receiver module.

GKA Output category

Enable GKA output: If set to Yes, the output of GKA messages is enabled. The Style setting becomes available as well as the Connection Settings sub-category of settings. After you have added the module, the data will be streamed during round measurements. You can see the raw messages in the module's GKA Raw Message view. Default value: No (not enabled).

Style: Only available, if Enable GKA output is set to Yes. Trimble 4D Control Server supports the output of raw total station measurements in two GKA formats:

Outgoing Connection sub-category

This sub-category appears, if Enable GKA output is set to Yes. Use the settings of the Outgoing Connection category to view and edit the settings for the connection that handles outgoing data.

Outgoing Connection category

To establish a connection between the module and the target of outgoing data, specify the connection type used to perform the communication.

Depending on the choice of the connection, the settings of the Connection Settings category vary.
