Format of the Data Logger IPI data file

The Data Logger IPI module requires the data file generated by the data logger software to have a specific format. This format should be used when configuring the data output format using the data logger software. The positions of the column header row and the number of information lines is arbitrary. Furthermore, column header rows are not used.

Format

A valid data file consists of an arbitrary number of leading information lines, followed by an arbitrary number of lines, each containing the measurement of all sensors of an in-place inclinometer at a specific time.

Each line consists of a timestamp record and one set of data values for each segment of the in-place inclinometer.

The following is an example of a data file containing three types of data (ValueA, ValueB, and ValueC) from three segments (01, 02, 03); each colored section refers to a single segment.

Tip - When setting up the Data Logger IPI module, make sure to specify the correct order of ValueA, ValueB, and ValueC by dragging the item representing this value to the correct position.
