Steps to set up a modem interface

Follow these steps to set up a modem interface in Trimble 4D Control Server:

1. Install the modem driver on the computer and test whether the connection to your modem is working correctly.
2. Set the modem communication parameters and make test calls using your modem.
3. If you are using a leased line for connecting Trimble 4D Control Server with the receiver, test the correct operation of the line.
4. Use the Incoming dialog to make the modem known to Trimble 4D Control Server.
5. Test the connection to each reference station receiver by trying a manual dial-in using a terminal software.
