Use the TCP/IP Server Settings dialog to view and edit (probably group-dependent) settings for the Connect to a TCP/IP server action type. Select this action type, if you need an individual type of action when an alarm is triggered for a module of this module group. The TCP/IP Server Settings dialog lets you define a server and outgoing port and a command. This command outputs the data specified by placeholders to the outgoing port. Then you can connect to this port and proceed with the data as needed.

Server category

Lets you view and specify the TCP/IP server computer by either IP number or computer name and the IP port at that computer.

Command category

They will be filled with the appropriate text at execution time, such as the alarm text, the alarm time, and so on. To insert a placeholder, either click the respective icon in the dialog or key it in. Use empty spaces to separate placeholders from each other.

Test Connection button

Click the button to test the output to the outgoing port at the TCP/IP server.
