User Management dialog

This dialog appears, if you do one of the following:

Use it for creating, viewing, and editing the specifications for logins and operator teams.

The dialog consists of a table displaying status information on all configured user logins and a toolbar. Some of the toolbar buttons are only enabled for users with Administrator access right.

The toolbar commands

Refresh

When selected, the UI connects to the database to retrieve the last version of the database entries which fill the table. This is recommended, for example, after you have created one or several new operator teams.

Edit

Only active, when a login entry is selected (highlighted). When selected, the Edit Login dialog appears for the selected login entry.

Delete

Deletes the currently selected login entry. A confirmation dialog prevents you from unintentionally deleting entries.

New Login

Opens the New Login dialog, which lets you create a new user login.

Operator Teams

Opens the Operator Team dialog, which lets you create, view, and edit operator teams. An operator team is a selection of users with operator access rights with the same control rights for specific module groups.

The user list

The table of the User Management dialog displays a list of all user logins, for which currently data is stored in the main database.

When first set up, Trimble 4D Control Server comes with three user logins, all of them not protected by passwords:
