Export dialog - Saving and exporting charts

To store a plot of the current chart into a graphic or data file, right-click into the graphic of any module and select Save as. The dialog for exporting charts appears. Use it to select the output file properties and to start printing.

Use the Picture tab to select a graphic file format. Available file formats include Bitmap, Metafile, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, VML (HTM), SVG, PDF, Postscript. The Options tab lets you set the values for further options, if they are needed for the respective file format. The default values at the Size tab refer to 100% of the chart size currently displayed on the screen. If the Keep aspect ratio setting is selected, you need to edit just one of the values Width or Height, if you want to change the size of the output file. The other value is adjusted accordingly.

To save the x-axis and y-axis values of the data that contributed to the chart into data files, select the Data tab. Available data formats are Text, XML, HTML table, and Excel. From the Series selection field select, which data shall be exported. Further options are used to define the layout in the resulting file and let you select the separator.
