Alarm Manager - History view

The Alarm Manager History view displays a list of already performed Alarm jobs. For a detailed description of the columns of its spreadsheet see the following table.

The Alarm Manager module organizes its tasks in "jobs". Each job defines

the alarm condition: selectable from all conditions or module-dependent,
the alarm action: you can select group-dependent actions,
the condition status (did the condition occur or disappear?),
an action delay (optional).

Additionally, the following applies:

If the Alarm module is loaded, its jobs are enabled; if the module is unloaded, the jobs stop executing their tasks.
You can pause any job by selecting the None action.
You can define several action settings depending on Alarm groups.

To define a module group, you select specific modules from all modules currently added to the system.

Tip - If you add new modules to the system later, they are by default members of the All group. For all other groups, make sure to add new modules to the matching group(s).

Many Trimble products allow one to make use of module groups, when setting up alarm jobs. For all alarm jobs, the same module groups are available. When defining an alarm job, you define for each module group the specific action settings.

The Alarm Manager module can run multiple jobs. For example, to invoke two different actions for the same alarm condition, set up two jobs.

Alarm Status *	Current condition status.	One of the following: On - Alert or Warning: The condition occurred. Off - Alert or Warning: The condition disappeared. Event - Information alarm. Cleared by Module - The alarm issuing module automatically removed the active alarm.
Alarm Action	Short description of the current action.	Short verbal status message about the action having been executed. The action type is derived from the Alarm action setting at the Alarm Jobs dialog.
Module *	Name of the module that triggered this alarm.	Includes the unique configuration name.
Subsystem *	Closer description of the source of the alarm.	May not be filled, depending on the issuing module.
Additional Info	Information from the module that triggers the alarm.	Some modules not only trigger an alarm but send additional information about the cause of the alarm.
Alarm Raised at	Date and time, when the Alarm module received the alarm message.	System time.
Acknowledged by	Either login user name, or Not required.	The login name is automatically filled in when the alarm has been acknowledged.
Acknowledgment Comment	Arbitrary.	Derived from the Acknowledgment Requires Comment dialog.
Acknowledged at	Date and time, when the alarm was acknowledged.	Empty, if the alarm has not been acknowledged.
