Post-processing

Trimble 4D Control Server provides several GNSS post-processing engines:

• The Post Processing Engine modules take stored raw receiver data and automatically estimate positions from baseline combinations with overlapping time sequences resulting in highest-precision coordinates.
• The RTX-PP Engine module sends stored raw receiver data to the Trimble RTX™ Post-Processing service, where absolute positions using precise orbits are calculated and returned to the module.

For terrestrial applications, a Terrestrial Engine PP module is used to first import raw total station measurements from files and to set up the network of measured points before it processes these raw measurements. Additionally, it stores the raw measurements available in the central database.

Note - As it is the case throughout this product, the availability of these modules depends on the current licensing policy and status of Trimble 4D Control Server.
