When you add the NMEA Receiver module, the NMEA Receiver Properties dialog appears with this tab.
If you select the module in the Tree view after you have added the module, the categories and settings of this tab appear in the Properties view.
Use the General Settings tab to view and edit the NMEA Receiver settings.
Forward all data: If set to Yes, the module forwards all data to other modules, even if the NMEA's RTK status is not fixed. In this case, an NMEA Engine and its depending Integrity Monitor modules display all data in their chart views. Default: No - Only NMEA records with fixed positions are forwarded. All other records are not passed on.
Tracking interval: To reduce the data load, you can set a data filter based on a data rate. Use the property to specify the data rate passed on to the NMEA Engine module(s) using the data of this NMEA Receiver module. Available selections are data rates between 20 Hz and 10 minutes (default value: 1 Hz). If incoming data have a higher data rate of records, the records are reduced to match the Tracking interval setting.
The tracking interval definition does not affect data storage or routing.
Tip - The NMEA Receiver Status view displays filtered out records as grayed out.
Use baseline mode: Specifies whether an adjustment will be possible or not. With Yes selected (default), the incoming NMEA positions are considered to be the positions of a baseline end point (baseline mode). An adjustment of the data is possible. In this case, specify the start (Selected Base) and the end (Selected Station) of the vector, which the module computes from the incoming NMEA records. With No selected, the NMEA positions are considered to be absolute positions of the selected station (Selected Station setting only).
Selected Station: Specifies the station, to which the incoming data relate. Per default, the value is empty. To select a station, set the focus onto the Selected Station setting and click the browse button. This opens the Select a Station dialog, where you can select a station from the list. You can also add and remove stations using that dialog.
Selected Base: Only available, if the Use baseline mode property is set to Yes. Specifies the station, which acts as start point (reference) for the computed vector. Again, click the browse button and select a station from the Select a Base dialog.
Act as time server source: By default, this setting is set to Yes. The GNSS data received by this NMEA Receiver module support the internal time server with time data. If you, however, suspect this module to deliver unreliable time data, set the property to No. For more information on the Trimble 4D Control Server internal time server, see the Internal time server topic of this documentation.
Rover integrity support: If set to Yes, the NMEA Receiver module stores the incoming NMEA records into the Trimble 4D Control Server RoverIntegrity database. The Rover Integrity module will be able to read the data and to use it for analysis. By default, set to No (no NMEA storage). For providing the rover ID, the NMEA Receiver module uses its full module name (including the configuration name).
